Capita at the IHEEM Healthcare Estates event, 4-5 October
Capita is the main sponsor for this year’s Healthcare Estates event, which is being held at Manchester Central.
Simon Corben, managing director of Capita Property and Infrastructure - Health, will be speaking as part of a panel discussion at 10:40 on Tuesday 4 October. Dr Matt Williams-Gray and David Brown, also from Capita Property and Infrastructure, will be speaking on the same day at 12.40 on ‘Improving health outcomes – how can you deliver and improve health outcomes by collaborating with local suppliers?’.
The theme for the event is ‘Transforming the Estate Through Collaboration’, how best to maximise NHS estates and facilities budgets through efficiencies in design, build, management and maintenance.
The two days are made up of a conference, exhibition and awards dinner. The conference will focus on three key areas – strategy, engineering and facilities management, and design and construction over the two days. It will take a close look at the targets set by the Carter productivity and efficiency programme, and the role that the NHS estates and their teams must play.
Meanwhile, the exhibition will have over 200 exhibitors from across the sector and is the only one of its kind in the UK bringing together those who design, build, manage and maintain healthcare facilities. Capita will be exhibiting at the event at stand F33, so do drop by if you are attending.
