The Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Summit is now in its 12th year and has become a key event for influential people in local government. Delegates have the opportunity to discuss the challenges faced and the future of local government.
As one of the sponsors of this year’s event, we are also holding a workshop, ‘Is there a place for commercial thinking in your council?’, at 12.15pm on 12 September (day one). Facilitated by Capita’s Jonathan Flowers, Ben Egglestone and Christian Rogers, the session aims to explore ideas and share experience around the introduction of increased commercialism in councils, looking at how appropriate this really is and the practicalities of making it happen.
