Our joint workshop session with Sussex NHS Community Trust (SCT) 'Partnering for Success in Practice' will present a live work in progress case study and panel debate.
The NHS experiences almost continual change and has many challenges to address, including rising demand and heightened expectations at a time of constrained resources. In December 2013, SCT entered in to a five year strategic relationship with Capita. The relationship is the first of its kind in the health market, set up to identify efficiencies, better ways of working, and to accelerate the pace by which improvements are achieved.
Moving beyond the theory, this workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss how to make partnerships work in practice. Our audience will have the chance to learn about SCT's lessons and experiences to date, as well as to share their own experiences with the group.
Partnering for Success in Practice – a live work in progress case study
Thursday 5 June 10.45-11.45
This session will examine:
- why Sussex Community NHS Trust (SCT) chose the partnership route and their decision making process and outcomes to date
- how to make partnering work in practice to help drive change and improve the quality and sustainability of patient care services
- a real life, working case study, six months in to SCT’s relationship with Capita
- current programmes of work in place, staff engagement and preparation for transformation.
We aim to provide an open and honest floor for reflections, questions and debate.
Who is our workshop aimed at?
Community trusts and all providers interested in hearing about a partnership approach to facilitating change, achieving efficiencies and securing a long term sustainable footing. Come and see us on stand LG2 to find out more.
