CHKS announces Top Hospitals Awards shortlist

CHKS has announced the shortlist of its Top Hospitals 2018 national awards. These awards celebrate the success of healthcare and social care providers across the UK and internationally and include award categories for patient safety, quality of care, patient experience and data quality.

With the exception of the Quality Improvement and Most Improved Client awards, these national awards are not made on the basis of written award entries. Publicly-available data sets are used by CHKS, part of Capita, to determine the winners of each award. The data comes from the information that is regularly submitted by hospitals to NHS Digital to help track performance in a number of areas, including quality of care and patient safety. You can see a full list of indicators on the CHKS website.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 15 May at the awards ceremony at One Great George Street, London.
