Capita, which recently announced the creation of 140 new jobs in Scotland as it expands its Forres contact centre operation, is to create 30 further jobs there, announces Bruce MacLeod, managing director of Capita’s customer management business, today.
The 30 new roles will provide customer and sales support to one of Britain’s favourite retailers. Both the 140 roles announced in November and January and the 30 new jobs announced today have helped support the development of a world class customer service centre in the region.
Bruce MacLeod added: “These are not just any contact centre jobs. These are Capita’s customer management centre jobs. It chose Moray in recognition of the history of exceptional customer service the local people of Moray deliver to our customers. The available roles cover a wide range of skills, from customer service agents right up to senior management positions and we hope that we can continue to win new business and build the Moray contact centre further.”
Joyce MacLennan, Head of Finance and Business Services at Highlands and Islands Enterprise said: “Capita has sites all over the world and we welcome their on-going commitment to growth in Moray. This additional expansion, over and above the 140 jobs already announced, is great news for the area. It is further recognition of the strong skill base in customer care and leadership locally which HIE is working with the business to maximise.”
Capita employs over 4000 people in Scotland in businesses delivering a wide range of services to many different customers, including life and pensions administration, property consultancy, work for the police and other emergency services, IT services, work for local authorities, recruitment and occupational health services, specialising in the oil and gas industry.
