We currently have a great opportunity to join our friendly and welcoming night shift team here at Capita Intelligent Communications as an Enclosing Officer. In this role you will play a hands-on role in delivering our client’s projects from assisting with the operating of onsite machinery to stock takes of key supplies to ensuring the quality of the mailing work is up to standard,

This is a varied role and will offer the right person the opportunity to work in a supportive and knowledgeable team in a company that values their employees and their personal development above all else. Full training will be give for this role, we are looking for someone who is used to working in a hands on manual work environment and someone who has a positive and proactive approach to their work.

The role covers the night shift (10pm – 6am) so the working week starts at 10pm on Sunday and the last day finishes at 6am on Friday. We are looking for someone with their own transport as, whilst this site is located to many transport hubs, public transport is unlikely to cover these shift times.

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Assist in the operation of various finishing equipment, including but not limited to Neopost mailing machines, CMC Mailing machines, Bowe Fusion mailing machines, paragon pressure sealers / folding machine and Bell and Howell Consolidators (full training will be given)

  • Work as part of a team to deliver a first class service to our clients and internal stakeholders

  • To operate and maintain specified machines

  • Complete consumables stock takes for the machines

  • Maintain machinery to required standard

  • Ensure mailing quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines

Your Experience will include:

  • Successful, proven track in a manual working environment (ideally print management however this is not essential as full training will be given)

  • Strong communication skills

  • PC Literacy is preferable.

  • A willingness to learn new skills

  • An ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment

  • An ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • A willingness to work overtime when required
