This role will handle Legal Entity financial results including reviewing and analyzing information from the general ledger, month/year end book closure activities and timely entity level reports.
The role will support in finalising financial information prior to submission to Group Finance, Business Partners and the Business Units.
Job Description
- Provide general accounting support and complete month-end activities.
- Review and analyze information from the general ledger and other accounting records to verify accuracy and completeness, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Process fixed assets for reporting and capital expenditure management. Capitalization and related movement accounting for Fixed assets
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, review profit and loss statements, and make required adjustments as and when required
- Respond to audit enquiries and investigations.
- Support in Balance relates analytics, analysis and provide variance explanation for month-on-month movements
- Assist with corporate consolidation and other reports of business unit/division financial results.
- Meet deadlines consistently.
- Support the Corporate functions in the consolidation and reporting
- Prepare and review documentation for intergroup reporting and accounting activities
- Provide general accounting support and participate in month-end activities.
- Generate month/year-end reports, entity-level management accounts, and collaborate with business units on variance commentary.
- Undertake necessary regulatory submissions and be a point of contact for regulatory bodies and group audit teams
- Establish professional working relationships with colleagues, business staff, and management to build confidence and improve understanding of the business.
- Proactively resolve issues, provide feedback, and contribute ideas for development and improvement.
- Participate in training related to job duties and engage in training and development procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
- Perform other reasonable duties within capabilities.
- Complete regulatory submissions and serve as a contact point for regulatory bodies.
- Support ad hoc reporting and stakeholder management.
