We are now recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Champion to join our team in Capita HAAS.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Operational & Change teams as Lean Champions who will agree where focus is required regarding Improvement initiatives which they will then take forward and set clear goals, what resources are required to support and participate in being able to achieve goals.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for ensuring you understand our strategy objectives, goals and targets and have a relentless drive to implement and identify changes that aid these being met. Your efforts will help to foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the HAAS contract, ensuring the people affected by changes are well-informed, supported and bought in to the changes affecting them.

Job Description

What you'll be doing :

  • Identifying inefficiencies in current processes
  • Analysing Performance data, identify trends and pinpointing areas where strategic changes can lead to Significant Improvement
  • Mapping current processes, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Scope, develop, plan and implement Pilot and improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the Change team to become a trusted and integrated member of their teams.
  • Identify operational success stories – for e.g. CI deliveries/milestones – and highlight these to keep the momentum and encourage engagement with changes.
  • Develop robust measurement and evaluation mechanisms for comms and stakeholder engagement across the CI work to show the value of communications and the impact they have had.

What we're looking for :

Essential

  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma (Minimum Green Belt)
  • Full understanding of how AI / Automation can help support Continuous Improvement
  • Experienced in working across business transformation & change communications environments

Desirable

  • Able to manage pilots from planning through to effective delivery 
  • Used to working in a busy and fast-paced organisation
  • Excellent relationship builder with focus, energy and passion
  • Experience of working across multi-channels

About HAAS

The Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) arranges and carries out assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Communities (DfC). The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an illness or disability affects a person’s daily life. After the assessment, the DWP/DfC makes the decision as to whether the individual will receive any benefits. The Health Assessment Advisory Service is delivered on behalf of the DWP & DfC by Capita.
