In this role, you will provide pre-entry medical scrutiny of Candidates’ Primary Health Care Records and medical declarations to ensure they meet military standards, following official guidelines and protocols.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, hybrid role with an assigned office of Upavon, Brighton, Coventry, or Cardiff.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed for each case
- Making clinical decisions and judgement on cases following the NMC/ HCPC Guidelines
- Assessment and completion of computerised documents
- Complying with Capita Audit and Quality Assurance processes
- Working towards daily/weekly case completion targets
Essential qualifications/skills/experience
- Qualified Healthcare Professional with current UK registration (e.g. NMC/ HCPC) with no restrictions
- Post-Registration experience as a Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist
- Strong accuracy levels and attention to detail
- Ability to make clinical decisions
- Comfortable working in a target driven environment, you will be typing approximately 8 cases per day
