Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. You will be responsible for the instruction of military students in Communication systems principles, maintenance & fault diagnostics. The purpose of this role is to provide the delivery of Radio Frequency systems principles to Royal Navy students on their Phase 3 career courses across the 4 cadres of the Weapons Engineering department. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. This role is a Term time only role with 2 weeks holiday at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. As a Television Licence Field Officer, you will visit customers currently without a TV licence at addresses throughout the South East London area helping them firstly understand and comply with the legislation behind the TV licence, explaining how they can obtain one, and enabling them to find a payment plan that works for them. • You’ll be rewarded with £31,650 annual salary. • You will also receive either a company car which includes personal use, or a £3,700 annual car allowance paid monthly. • In addition, you will receive a mileage allowance (paid in line with published HMRC rates). In addition to mileage completed between visits we also pay this allowance from and to your home address each day. • Working hours: You’ll be working a 36.5-hour week on a flexible shift pattern, with a potential of a four-day working week. • Location: You will be home-based and spend your shift visiting people in communities across your region. Ideally, you will be living in the SE postcode areas.
