As a Television Licence Field Officer, you will visit customers currently without a TV licence at addresses throughout the Warminster area helping them firstly understand and comply with the legislation behind the TV licence, explaining how they can obtain one, and enabling them to find a payment plan that works for them. • You’ll be rewarded with £31,650.00 annual salary • You will also receive either a company car which includes personal use, or a £3700 annual car allowance paid monthly. • In addition, you will receive a mileage allowance (paid in line with published HMRC rates). In addition to mileage completed between visits we also pay this allowance from and to your home address each day. • Working hours: You’ll be working a 36.5-hour week on a flexible shift pattern, with a potential of a four-day working week. • Location: You will be home-based and spend your shift visiting people in communities across your region, Ideally you will be living in the BA12 postcode area.

Job description:

Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. You will be responsible for instructing Royal Navy students in Trade Safety Principles, Procedures, and Practices, specifically delivering Trade Safety training during Phase 3 career courses across the four cadres of the Weapons Engineering (WE) department. Additionally, they provide general Health & Safety training and guidance to students undertaking Target Employment modules. This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
