As we approach the 13th anniversary of Capita in South Africa, we’re also proud to celebrate another significant milestone – one year since the establishment of our presence at Mutual Park in Cape Town. This reflects a year of growth, innovation, and community impact.
Since opening, Mutual Park has become Capita’s largest delivery hub, home to over 2,200 colleagues. The site plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, innovative services across key sectors including energy and utilities, telecommunications, retail, and logistics.
The move to Mutual Park was a strategic consolidation of four existing locations in South Africa into a single, state-of-the-art facility. More than just an office, the site is a six Star Green-rated building, equipped with an 8.3 MW NERSA-approved solar power system and a fully operational water recycling plant – underscoring our commitment to sustainability.
Over the past 12 months, Mutual Park has hosted a range of initiatives that have strengthened our relationships with clients, partners such as CapeBPO, and the wider community. Our teams have also been recognised for their excellence, earning accolades at the CapeBPO (SA) Awards and becoming finalists at both the CAA Global Women in Leadership Awards and the Customer Experience Africa Awards – a testament to the talent and dedication within our business.

Mutual Park is not only a hub for business operations but also a centre for community engagement. At a recent open day, more than 80 local residents were offered employment opportunities, providing access to stable income and comprehensive benefits.
