Embedding competence for a major UK urban law enforcement agency

Objectives: Embed confidence and competence within the law enforcement agency’s system.

Audience: 10,000 staff members, with training developed in a modular form so learners complete only the elements relevant to their roles.

Solution: We developed a large-scale, bespoke records management system, accompanied by 41 hours of digital content. This content is structured into individual topics related to specific system functionalities, such as case management, custody, investigation, intelligence, property, and stop and search. The e-learning was part of a blended solution that included classroom training, virtual classroom training, and post go-live support.

Our proven, best-practice instructional approach provided:

  • Tell me / try it: System simulations to build confidence and provide hands-on practice before using the system in live and potentially dangerous situations.
