The role is focal for the delivery of officer selection in one of the UK’s largest and most diverse recruiting operations whose aim is to deliver exceptional candidate experience throughout an inclusive recruitment process.

Your role will be to set-up/maintain/repair the Command courses/Course area used for officer selection.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Laying out obstacles, burdens and aids for the courses used in officer selection
  • Remaining in attendance during assessment on tasks to replace faulty/damaged equipment.
  • Reporting all damages and carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and painting
  • Providing cover for other colleagues when absent on leave/sick and be prepared to work over weekends (up to 6 per annum).
  • Responsible for the care and correct maintenance of equipment, tools and clothing issued.
  • Occasional duties as a driver to deliver/collect stores and support assessment delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role would be an advantage
  • Clean driving license
  • Well Organised with good attention to detail
  • Ability to carry/lift/operate machinery
  • Happy to work outdoors in all weathers
  • Good team player
  • Any knowledge of Army selection would be an advantage

Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS Check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard).
